WHAT IS NOKIA SYMBIAN HACKING? & WHY SHOULD I HACK MY NOKIA SYMBIAN?

New Nokia symbian phone users are faced with some forms of discontent or the other when trying to get the most out of their symbian phones. The most intimidated phrase the are faced with is HACK YOUR SYMBIAN In literal sense of the word the word HACK is used with a negative overtone but in the context of using it with a nokia symbian phone, it simply means REMOVAL OF RESTRICTION PLACED ON YOUR PHONE BY YOUR MANUFACTURER. Be that as it may let us now move to the question what is Nokia symbian phone hacking and why must i hackmy nokia symbian phone?

2. WHAT EXACTLY IS hacking?

h4cking your phone will disable the security of your phone, so the phone will not check if an app is signed or unsigned while installing it. you will also be able to see all the folders/files in your phone using an explorer like X-Plore.

3. WHY DOES NOKIA CLOSE / RESTRICT THE PHONES?

you should know that the very first symbian phones were not closed. We could see all phone files with an explorer, we could install any application that came out and so on. unfortunally virus developers knew that also and after some time (when Nokia started to sell many S60 phones) many viruses came out

many viruses came out because the phones were not protected at all against that. After that Symbian had to react. And they did, bringing out Symbian 9. Symbian had changed almost everything on the phones software, making it impossible to install applications that were developed for the older operating systems. i think the first thought of symbian was to make the phones more secure against viruses. some people also say they did that for the money…and i think they are also right because everything is about the money  *

4. ABOUT SYMBIAN 9.x

with the new operating system everything changed. the phones were closed now. of course we could install new apps on it but they had to be signed applications. *

5. SIGNED APPLICATIONS WHATIS THAT?

Signing is the process of encoding a tamper-proof digital certificate into an application sis(installation) file. The certificate identifies the applications origin, and grants access to those Capability-protected API’s

On Symbian OS, protected APIs are those that allow sensitive operations, such as those thatmay:

* access the mobile phone network, potentially affecting its operation *

* access handset functions that can affect thenormal behavior of the phone

* potentially impact the performance of otherapplications running on the phone.

Although Symbian didnt wanted the end-userto get involved in all this process, (signing etcshould be only for the developers) we got somehow involved at the end  *

If you get a Developer Certificate. this Cert is only for your phone, you cant use it on other devices to install

you cant use it on other devices to install applications. *

6. I WANT TO HACK MY PHONE WHY DO I NEED A CERTIFICATE?

Because you have to use an application to hack your phone that is unsigned (HelloOX) After you signed and installed this applicationyou dont have to worry about unsigned applications anymore. you can install any application now without signing it. * Nowadays you dont need to get a certificate before hacking your phone all you eed to do is using Dr webbs anti virus norton antvirus or equivalent (watchout for the tutorial in mynext post)

7. I WANT TO UPGRADE MY PHONES FIRMWARE.WILL I LOOSE THE HACK?

Some new phones like the 5800 (and the N85 i think) can upgrade the firmware without loosing any of your data. But nokia change always something on the phones security with an upgrade so its better to be prepared to make the hack again. *

the same apply to all the other phones that do not keep your data after an upgrade.maybe you want to back up the phones memory before the upgrade thinkingthat the hack will still work after the upgrade but like i said its more likely that it will not.

8. WHAT ABOUT VIRUSES?

that’s a good question.After the hack the phone is trully open for everything. so in the theory we can install also viruses. But untill now there is no virus for our phones out. *

I think its because only few people are actually h4cking their phones (compared to the millions of sold devices worldwide) so its not the same like on the early days of S60 phones with the viruses that we have got back then. So now that you know that the pros of hacking your phone outweight its cons why dont you give it a try now

METHOD 1

Many of you should have used old methods trying to hack a Symbian phone but mostly now result comes in the form of failure. But now I am going to share a genuine scheme to hack any Symbian phone by just following some simple steps.

Well, what you get from a hacked phone?

> It can be customized as required. Since system files are accessible always.

> Any application with an expired certificate can be installed. Because a hacked Symbian won’t ask for certificate. [However, be sure not to install spammy and viral software. Do at your own risk.]

1- Lets start that how can we do it, first you should download this whole package from below which contains those tools which are going to be used while hacking any Symbian phone.

2- After downloading extract and copy all the material present in the downloaded archive into your Symbian cell phone.

NOTE: If you own Nokia E-series mobile phone [E60, E61, E70 ...],

You may need to do following in order to allow phone to install X-plore

Open Application Manager

Choose Options, then Settings

Switch Software installation to*All* [not*Certified only*]

4- Install the Mobile Security present in the extracted package and then open up the X-plore after restarting your cell phone, and copy tmquarantine [present in ROM Patcher+ 3.1 Lite and then C] from the extracted package present in cell phone and paste this folder in c:\ of the cell phone just using X-plore. Now again open antivirus i-e Mobile security and then go to quarantine list and select all and then restore.

As a result of restoration the quarantined files needed for hacking are now in c:/sys/bin that’s what we wanted.

5- Now run and install RomPatcherPlus_3.1_LiteVersion present in the download package and then apply the “Open4All RP+” using this now you are able to get into the any system file of Symbian OS.

6- Also apply “Install Server RP+” and then due to this you will be able to install any unsigned application without any certificate error but always be conscious don’t install any viral application, Since Hackers Thirst is not responsible.

NONT: If Red sign comes on applying “Install Server RP+”, then manually search installserver.exe for your cell phone using Google and then using X-plore paste that in c:\sys\bin and cheers you will be done. Ask me for any help or getting installserver.exe for your set phone also.

1. Unpack Quarantine archive to C drive. Use X-Plore. You should get

C: mquarantine\ path.

2. Install Anti-Virus [Trend micro Mobile Security]

3. Launch Anti-Virus

4. Go to Options - Quarantine list

5. Do Options - MARK ALL and Restore at all files [important step]

6. Close Anti-Virus and delete it.

7. Install RomPatcher+

8. Launch RomPatcher+ and apply patches: -Open4all for access to all folders - Installserver for installing any unsigned apps [if red cross go here] If need do Options - Add to auto at patches you need to auto start on phone boot.

OPDA has stopped provide free cert and key for Symbian mobiles and it is difficult to hack Symbian mobiles for free by using unsigned HelloOx.

But forget about HelloOx here is the every easy and 100% hacking method for all Symbian mobiles like Nokia N8, Nokia E71, Nokia E51, Nokia E6, Nokia N73, Nokia E61, Sony Ericsson Satio and all other Symbian mobiles which need hack.

Here is the Step by Step method to hack your mobile.

To hack your Symbian mobile you need to access 'private' folder of your memory card [if your mobile has external memory card] or

Hard disk [or something else in your phone except 'C' drive of your phone like N95 8GB, N8 etc.]

0. Download HACK TOOL from

1. Now extract it, you'll get these files after extracting

2. Connect your memory card with PC[using card reader] or if your handset has      Inbuilt memory like N95 8gb then use data cable to connect it with PC and  select mass storage[or data transfer]mode. You don't need PC suite for doing this.

3. Open the 'private' folder of you memory card if you can't see that then enable 'show hidden files and folder' in your PC.

If you have no idea for doing this then [In Windows XP-sp3] open My Computer-click tools [appears at top of the left side]-click folder

Options -click view [appear in top of popup windows] click 'show hidden files and folders [appears in 11th row]-after click on Apply and then click Ok [appears in bottom of the pop up windows]

Now click on memory card you can see the folder named ‘private' click on it.

4. Copy the folder named '20024113' what you've got after extracting the downloaded Hacking tools.

And paste it into 'private' folder.

5. Now disconnect [safely] your memory card or phone from PC.

Install

  : Drweb-600-symbian-s60.sis in your memory card [or Hard disk of your phone not in 'C' drive]

  : Open it dialogue box will be appear to get keys click 'cancel'.

  : press options and click on 'Quarantine'

  : Press options-select all-then cilck restore. There’ll be no data after restore.

6. Now install

  : RomPatcherPlus_3.1_Lite.sisx [in phone memory 'C' drive]

  : Open it-click options-click All patches click apply_ again click options and click add to auto [both 2 files]

  : Then exit it

7. Restart you phone

Now your Symbian phone is hacked and you can install any cracked or certificate expired applications without any problem. You can also access your 'sys','private' folder.

If again you can't install your favorite cracked apps then don't worry you need to do one more thing. Open the folder 'Installserver all Symbian mobiles'[what you've got before]

Click 'read this' and extract the accurate 'install server' for your mobile.

Copy 'installserver.exe' and paste it to 'C/sys/bin' [For doing that you can use 'explore' or any other file manager.

If you don't have that then download it from[http://www.lonelycatgames.com/?app=xplore&page=download&platform=symbian].

Now restart your mobile and your Symbian mobile is fully hacked.

Your 'installserver.exe' file is already hacked so don't apply it and add to auto [in RomPatcher].

Now you can remove Dr.web antivirus.

METHOD 4

The post I’m about to make is as a result of research which emanates from existing Symbian hacking methods and I so much fine tuned it that I have applied it on the following Nokia phones with success: NokiaN8, Nokia E5 Nokia E7, Nokia N95 and NokiaE65. From the fore mentioned phones, you should know that I have covered all Nokia Symbian operating systems. Now read carefully and you will see clearly where the slight but effective changes lie. You don’t need the screenshot for this just follow the screenshots you have already downloaded but make sure you watch out for my modification in this post.

Make sure you have the following ready:

1. DrWeb6 for Symbian[http://wap.capriofiles.com/site_160.xhtml?get-file=4320]

6. A memory card reader or a nokia USB cable

7. A Symbian phone that has either an inbuilt mass memory or a memory card

So Lets Begin---

1. Connect phone your phone to PC with your USB cable, or memory card to PC with card reader, [Make sure that DO NOT connect the phone in Ovi Suite or Nokia PC suite mode plus make sure that neither Nokia PC Suite nor Ovi Suite is running when you connect the phone with PC [because system folders can not be accessed in these modes. You need to do this so that you can have access to the private folder inside your mass memory or memory card.

2. Download QuarantineDriversLDD.zip [it is in the zip folder I uploaded, I will drop the link below]. NOW PLEASE FOR WHATEVER REASON, DONT USE ¡±QuarantineF.zip¡±

In some posts that you have read, they will tell you to use QuarantineF.zip for phones with memory card and that you should use QuarantineDriversLDD.zip for phones with Mass Memory; I’m telling you confidentially now that you should only use QuarantineDriversLDD.zip for all type of phones.

3. Now extract all the contents in QuarantineDriversLDD.zip into a folder named “Private” [that is inside the archive]. Copy the folder “20024113” that will be found inside “Private” and unpack to phone mass storage or memory card. Now this is what I mean, after extracting the zip file on your PC, a folder named private will be created exactly where you unzip the archive.

Now go to My Computer and open the memory card or mass memory connected to PC [make sure that you are opening memory card or mass memory]. Now find and open the ¡°Private¡± folder and paste the folder named¡±20024113¡å which is inside the folder you extracted from QuarantineDRIVERS.DLL to the private folder inside the private folder of your memory card or mass memory. Now disconnect the phone [or memory card] from PC.

If you don’t see ¡°Private¡± folder in memory card then enable the ¡°Show hidden and System files¡± option in your PC and if it still doesn’t appear, then create the folder ¡°private¡± manually on your memory card.

4. Download and install DrWeb6 for Symbian

If it asks for registration key then press cancel it will activate trial mode for you and this is all you need

5. Launch Dr.Web.

6. Go to Options ¨C Quarantine

   Go Options ¨C Select all

   Go Options ¨C Restore -.

   Now, RomPatcher drivers are in c:\sys\bin folder

7. Download and install RomPatcher 3.1 Lite [also in the package]

Launch RomPatcher and apply Open4all patch. Now you have access to write in    all system folders. You then need to apply Installserver patch, so that you can install all unsigned apps compatible with your phone.

Note: if you use an older s60v3 phone e.g. nokia E65, N73 and others, you will encounter one little problem and this is the solution:

After doing all above, open your RomPatcher and enable Installserver and open for all you will notice that install server will show red but open4all will indicate green. Download Installserver pack from[http://www.4shared.com/zip/_gBYjZUM/Installserver_pack.html]

Nokia E65 ¨C it has OS 9.1, so after extracting the Installserver pack copy out installserver9.1 and open your xplore in your phone then copy the Installserver to C:/sys/bin that is all.

Now go back to your RomPatcher and apply Installserver this time it will show green. Mind you, if you want your RomPatcher to always work automatically please, make sure you download the latest version of RomPatcher then set Installserver to auto patch from your RomPatcher. Otherwise whenever you restart your phone and you wish to install any unsigned app, you will still get the certificate error. So if you install the RomPatcher from my package then be sure to manually apply patches anytime you want to install apps that are not signed.

Step 0: Download Norton Antivirus SymbianHack Kit. Zip from

Step 1: Install NortonSymbianHackLDD.sis and RomPatcherPlus v3.1 LiteVersion.sisx

Step 2: Launch Norton, Go Options - Anti-Virus - Quarantine list - Options - Restore All, Accept prompt and Exit Norton

Step 3: Launch RomPatcherPlus and apply Open4all and Installserver patch

Step 4: If you get Red Cross for Insnstallserver patch

Move compatible installserver.exe from zip file to C:/sys/bin

THAT’S IT YOUR MOBILE IS HACKED: dance:

Uninstall Norton and delete c:\shared (folder).But keep RomPatcher

NOTE : * Nokia Belle Users Even if Installserver patch shows green tick you have to move Installserver.exe of Belle to C:/sys/bin

* If you get Red Cross for Installserver patch, it’ll give Red Cross even after moving installserver.exe, just ignore it your mobile is hacked

* If your mobile is under warranty and you want to go to nokia care for some reason, just disable all patches and remove RomPatcher

 

METHOD 6

This Tutorial is about how to hack nokia Symbian phones by Hellox2.

By hacking you phone you have complete access to the phone’s system files. You can install applications without signing them and get rid of those annoying java security popups.

HelloOx v2.03 is the easiest one step hacking app for your phone. Follow these simple picture steps to fully hack your phone. It is been tested by me on N73, 5800XM, 6120c and other Symbian phones. Now let’s start.

1. First Off All You Need Your Own OPDA cer file for Your Phone. To Get Certificate Go To OPDA[http://cer.opda.cn/en/index.php] Then Register There after Register Sign In.

2. After sign in Click on My Certificate on top menu. Then Apply For Certificate file.

3. Fill up The Forms. To Check Your IMEI Press *#06# on your nokia phone. Then submit

4. Wait for 24 hours.

5. Then after your certificate is ready then download ".cer" and”. key" file.

6. Then make a new folder on desktop put cer and key file on new folder

7. Then Download These Files

11. And your phone has been hacked. Before you can install any unsigned application, you will need to open ¡®ROM Patcher’from the ¡®Applications’ folder and activate open4all patch. Done...

Note to all users:

Nokia has fixed the hole where current HelloOX2 using to Hack the phone on the newest N86 firmware20.115. We almost sure all the upcoming firmware on other models will also be UnHackable like it.

However, from our experience, updating a Hacked phone firmware on PC with ¡°Nokia Software Updater¡± or on phone with ¡°FOTA¡± will not erase all your installed files and settings, of course the Hack will still be there too. But all of them will gone when you do a factory reset, your phone will not be Hackable in the near future until a new Hacking method found. (note: v2.03 UnHack function will remove all Hack and then become UnHackable too, don’t use it on UnHackable firmware!)

If you would like your phone keep Hackable, please do not update! If you would like to update your Hacked phone and keep it hacked, please do not do factory reset! The safer way is wait for some more users report before update, because updating a Hacked phone will also be Hacked were just an experience, we’re not sure is it also the same on all upcoming firmware.

  

METHOD 7

Surely the owners of Symbian S60v3 familiar with this program. In fact, thanks to this it was possible to perform the hack on older Symbian, in order to have access to all system folders and install any application, also unsigned.

With the advent of the fifth edition of Symbian, however, the plan was apparently abandoned as it was deemed ¡°UnHackable¡±(non-hackable) and proposed in fact to all those who wanted all these functions to install firmware meals, however, invalidating the warranty.

But by May, the team became alive again on the official website HelloOX.com, stating that they were ready early versions of the hack for Symbian newer models.

So two days ago (12/06/2011) was finally released HelloOx 2.11, compatible with the hack easier:

Symbian S60 3rd Edition FP1

Symbian S60 3rd Edition FP2

Symbian S60 5th Edition

Symbian ^ 3 (including the new St. Anne models, namely Nokia X7 and E6).

Install HelloOx is also simple: let’s see how.

Steps:

*. If you do not already have it, get yourself a. and a cert. signare key for applications related to your IMEI. You will need to certify once HelloOx to be installed on the phone. If you do not know how to procure the necessary files I recommend you follow our previous Guide to download two files. If you’re lucky you can get buyin a few hours, otherwise you will get the files to a maximum 2 / 3 days. If you are not able to download a version sign at team HelloOx but only under donation.

*. Download the program HelloOX2.v2.11 Signer (compatible only with Windows) and install it.[http://www.mediafire.com/?a747tiu9rpt1ucu]

*. Open the program and cer file included in the file. cert downloaded.

*. In the field enter the key file. Key downloaded.

*. Choose any destination folder and press Sign HelloOX.v2.11.sisx to get the file ready to be installed on the phone.

*. Once sent to Symbian, you start the installation program and follow the simple instructions to find the hack on your device.

This version also contains something new: aversion of RomPatcher Il.Socio compatible with Symbian   by ^ 3, so you can enjoy the patch RomPatcher and their advantages on the new Symbian.

We conclude that this hack does not void the warranty as totally reversible (re-opening HelloOx will appear under ¡°unHack¡±) and a reset you will lose all traces of the hack performed.

Hack your mobile by the following steps

0. Download This First.

1. Install certificate updater.sis

2. Certificate hack installer.sis

3. Again install certificate installer.sis. This time you will get an error as “unable to install"

4. Restart your phone or simply go to installed applications now you will find hack it icon

5. open that now hacking will be started it will ask you weather to install RomPatcher select yes to install RomPatcher

6. Then open RomPatcher and apply both the patches and add them to auto

7. Now your phone is hacked you can install any unsigned applications without any error
